Rosalia was born in the mountains of Northern New Mexico in the year 1997.

She developed a passion for drawing at a very young age, especially images with an underlying story. She began illustrating her own tales at the age of six.

She was selected her senior year of high school as one of eight students to participate in the first-offered Advanced Placement Studio Art course. She has also participated in local exhibitions such as Off the Cuff, 2017.  Her art has been sold in show and at auction. 

 

She specializes in 2-D drawing. At the University of New Mexico, Rosalia developed her own style in which she combines the mediums of pen & ink with chalk pastel and colored pencil. Through these tools, she creates bold, illustrative art works. Her work also features contemporary acrylic paintings. Her work is primarily inspired by fanciful themes and color contrasts.
